Beyond the local beaches, Villa Dalu is only a 15-minute drive from Uvita town. There, you’ll find a multitude of outstanding restaurants, tour activities and places to shop for souvenirs.
The only regional golfing action, OSA Golf Course, is about 30 minutes by car. This 9-hole course has been transformed in recent years, and the playing surface has never looked better. Osa Mini Golf can be a great time for kids and old people that act like children. Plus, it’s very close to the property as well.
For history buffs, consider visiting The Museum of the Stone Spheres, about a 45-minute drive south of Villa Dalu.
Located at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Finca 6, this museum will appeal to amateur archaeologists, history buffs and all explorers at heart.
Going in the opposite direction, north along the coastal highway, the town of Dominical is another hotspot for tourist activity. Here, a laidback surf vibe permeates the warm beach weather. Slip on your sandals, stroll through town, pick up a breakfast burrito or some kombucha, and check out the big waves on offer down at the shore.

Costa Rica is known to have some serious 4×4-only access roads.
