A few things about the initial payment process were confusing, but I always got prompt communication and clear answers. We were met by the main road and Stephen led us to the house, which was clean and met or exceeded our expectations. (it's 3 km up a steep gravel road, about 10 minutes) It was well represented by the descriptions. We loved opening the bedroom doors/walls in the morning and watching the birds, hummingbirds, and butterflies. Heard howler monkeys, and actually saw them the last day close to the house. Lovely pool. Grilled under the porch every evening and always ate out there. We were there mid-late November, so had some rain and some sun - temperatures were very pleasant. You Get Here is super service oriented - we had a few issues with the plumbing and ran out of grill gas, and they responded very promptly to fix things. The folding doors of the bedroom are not trouble-free to close - takes some patience and one corner needs to be pried up, but it was worth the effort to us. This was our honeymoon, and we are absolutely thrilled with our choice!

Well let me say first that This is an amazing , safe , gated and great property location in Dominical. It is close to many activities such as wild life sanctuary , waterfalls , beach and tours ( all within in 30 min) , but also the perfect spot to see the ocean and mountains and be totally isolated and private from everyone . The view is amazing and Josue was the one that greeted us and helped us, with a welcoming smile , and even went above and beyond to accommodate us in any way he could and quickly ! He took us to the supermarket and he even helped guide us when we got lost heading to the villa at night picking up friends . He also even helped us get in contact with our car rental because I had no service . The house is packed with everything you need , washer drier , utensils , towels . I would highly recommend and can not wait to return . The drive up to the property is a bit of a hike but Totally worth the adventurous and scenic view. 10/10 stars !

We saw and took photos of hundreds, HUNDREDS of plant and animal species! Even monkeys, capuchins, toucans, agoudis, incredible birds, alien-like plants, and one extremely rainy night two wild cats (jaguars?) took shelter on the patio until they set off the security lights. I watched as they ran and jumped over the pool to escape the "scary human"; just beautiful, elegant creatures! This house sits in a kind of small topographical bowl, making a wonderful amphitheater anywhere you go on the property. If you want REAL rainforest, this property is IT! House is comfy and gorgeous. Great A/C, which is a must for the steamy forest. I'm 50 years old, my mother is 80, and we two "older" women had an absolute blast!! Only thing you must have and be comfy doing is driving a 4x4 up steep dirt roads. I thought it would be scary but it was just SUPER FUN! Very safe roads. We can't wait to come back again!

We spent a week at Tres Perlas and had a wonderful time.

It's important to note that we travel to Costa Rica quite often and have rented several houses in the area over the past few years so my review of the house is based on years of experience doing this.

The house itself is great - has an outstanding outdoor space with well taken care of and comfortable furniture to relax on. The BBQ is great, the kitchen is well equipped, the pool is refreshing. The views are great for those who favour canopy over ocean, and the area is frequented by howlers and is a bird watchers paradise.

Renters will need a 4x4 to get to the property - it was a bit higher (aka a longer trek up the mountain) than we typically prefer, but it's a fun drive, especially the Dominicalito way as you get to drive through the creeks.

I especially liked the security with the property. However, the downfall of that was having to always have the keys on hand to move through the house unless everything was unlocked. There are a lot of keys for this house.

The master bedroom is quite small but being able to sleep with the screen doors wide open was great - we never once used the AC in the room. We felt the master would have benefitted from a double vanity in the bathroom and a full length mirror as the mirrors in the house are very small. Being able to control your own lights from the bed was a nice added touch.

The kitchen is well equipped with the necessary small appliances and cooking utensils, and a huge island with a great sink and awesome water pressure.

The main gate to the house periodically gave us troubles by not opening fully, which meant we had to go out and use the keys to manually open each. If you have to do the same - be watchful of the leaf cutter ants!

The property managers (YouGetHere) are great. Very responsive to our questions and super helpful.

If you love food, check out these restaurants: Los Laureles (Uvita) - the fish tacos and coconut flam are to die for. La Fogata (Uvita) - Go for the lasagna. Mosaic (Uvita) - their sushi and wine is second to none. Por Que No (Dominical) - Great views, breakfast is divine. La Parcela (Dominical) - Amazing views on both sides, great food, but service is so-so. Exotica (Ojochal) - Simply amazing food.

Down the house toward Dominicalito - Poza Azul

My fiance and I decided on Costa Rica because we are active and the pictures of this house. The house and views from it were absolutely amazing! From day one the rental management team, You Get Here, was so helpful and made our trip so much easier. If this isn't the house for you then check out their website because going through them is so worth it! As for this house, the interior and exterior was very clean and had everything you needed to be relaxed, make your own meals, and especially drinks! The pool and outdoor area is a great place to relax and just look out into the Pacific. The shower is so cool too! Just live a little and take one outside. We went in early August which is the beginning of the wet season, which means there is a chance of storms everyday, but we loved it. Don't let it hinder your plans! There would be nights where there would be stars over the house, but storms out over the ocean. It was amazing. Still 80s every day. We saw all kinds of birds at the house, but no luck and monkeys or sloths. The other reviews are right about the drive up to the house, but after a couple times its not that bad and sometimes a little fun. The estates are well kept and there is lots to explore within it. We ran into the HOA president and he told us so much information about the area and that there are waterfalls all around the property. We didn't make it to them, but look for a blue gate as you go towards the park. The house is only 7-10 minutes Dominical and Uvita once you get to the bottom of the hill and the same to several great beaches. We did whitewater rafting that was scheduled through Steve. Make sure you go with Dominical Rafting Adventures. They are truly the best and most fun. We also had in house massages that were amazing and a great deal! Overall we would recommend this house and location for a vacation to anyone. We can't wait to go back!

Our stay at Casa Alta Vista was awesome. The house was very clean when we arrived, and Stephen was very helpful during our check-in process. He told us about the local area, and gave us some good info on making the most out of our stay. The view was just incredible, and the house had so many outdoor spaces to enjoy it from. The view looks down on the "Whale's Tale" beach at Uvita. You could honestly just spend hours staring at it. We were lucky enough to catch a whale jumping out of the water as we ate breakfast outside on the first morning. We also saw monkeys, toucans, parrots, and an agouti on the property. The location is pretty convenient to attractions as well. Dominical, Uvita, Nauyaca Falls, and more are all convenient to the area. Manuel Antonio and Jaco are a little further away, but we made day trips to those areas as well. Be prepared for the drive up to the house. It requires 4-wheel drive, and can be a little scary at first, but it is safe, and you get totally used to it after a couple days. The house is in the Jungle on a mountain, so it's septic system doesn't allow for the flushing of toilet paper, you must throw it away. This wasn't nearly as big of a deal as it seemed at first, and is pretty standard in this area. There are also rolling brown outs in these areas of Costa Rica. This is also pretty standard, and we weren't really bothered by it. We weren't there to watch TV or anything like that. This was our first stay in Costa Rica, and everyone had a blast. I would absolutely recommend Casa Alta Vista to anyone looking to stay in the Dominical area
