With aplomb, this brand-new vacation villa entered the rental market to kick off 2022, featuring meticulous attention to both design and detail. Privately gated, you’ll arrive into a tranquil, resort-style courtyard. This prime location atop Lagunas mountain in Dominical, dotted along Costa Rica’s southern Pacific coastline, offers a full retreat from the stressors of everyday life.

Wildlife is plentiful at Tulü Azul. There are toucans and parrots cruising in the skyline, howler and white-face monkeys swinging from vines in the jungle canopy above, blue Morpho butterflies flapping in the breeze, and various species of frogs hopping from pad to pad.

With four bedrooms and four and a half baths, Tulü Azul is tucked into a lush mountainside and offers the ideal location to pamper yourself and enjoy the finer details of life. And when you’re done with that precious downtime, you can take adventurous 4×4 road trips from the property to multiple rivers in the surrounding valley.

The well-manicured courtyard, complete with a mature Mango tree in the middle, welcomes guests and leads up to the villa entrance. The facade is adorned with a pair of unique hand-carved stone reliefs, featuring turtles, dolphins, tropic fish, and corral along the walkway.

Walking into the main living area, replete with floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors and panoramic windows, it’s difficult to pull your eyes away from the expansive valley of rainforest, stretching from the ridge of Lagunas down to the shores of the Pacific. The only thing between you and the ocean view is a stunning infinity pool, giving guests a bird’s-eye view of Costa Rica’s most inspiring natural landscapes.

The stylish living room has ample seating, a wooden coffee table, and a flat-screen TV. On the other side of the living area is the fully appointed and state-of-the-art kitchen, equipped with a five-burner stovetop, oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Beautiful wood cabinets brighten the kitchen. A sleek, white countertop creates a clean, spacious, and modern feel at the kitchen bar, where four bar stools offer guests plenty of space to watch the chef work.

Graystone floors expand out from the living room into an outdoor patio and pool deck oasis, where a big-boy BBQ and chilly wine refrigerator make this a premier spot in Central America to enjoy any meal. Whether you’re cooking inside or out, you’ll be able to do so while gazing over the rainforest and enjoying endless coastline views that stretch north toward Manuel Antonio National Park. The outdoor dining table accommodates eight.

An additional set of lounge chairs are set up on the palapa viewing deck, which offers epic ocean and jungle views, as well as an outdoor shower. This palapa is perfect for a morning yoga session or an afternoon cocktail. You can just feel the energy of the jungle while sitting on that deck. It’s magical. The infinity pool produces resort-level relaxation. You may never want to leave this pool unless you’re heading to the wine fridge for a refill.

The master suite is located on the main level, with multiple sliding glass doors opening out onto a wrap-around deck. It has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and a gorgeous spa-like bathroom that feels like your own mini-wellness sanctuary. Featuring a sleek, stone walk-in shower with dual overhead rain showerheads, you’ll feel as if you’ve been whisked away to bathe under a waterfall. The private balcony off the master bath has an outdoor shower — literally under the trees — to tie a bow around this complete jungle-shower experience.

The seamless indoor/outdoor flow is tastefully accentuated with subtle features; various zen-inspired art pieces and beautifully selected and framed local nature photography are tastefully placed throughout. You may notice several of the photos, taken by the villa’s owner, illuminate the nearby landscapes you’ll be able to experience first-hand while visiting.

The inviting spaces never end at Tulü Azul, where an abundance of natural light filters through the large windows on each side of the home, bringing the soft rays of sunrise and the glowing sunset to every area. Remote-controlled window coverings ensure you won’t even have to get out of bed to witness the early-morning activity of the birds soaring past the villa.

The second level features a pair of bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and ocean views from any location. The other bedroom features two single beds that can be converted to a king depending on your group needs, an AC unit, desk, and an en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom on the property is separated from the main house, offering additional privacy but keeping the same unparalleled views of the ocean and jungle.

Additional amenities include a personal gym located off the courtyard entrance with a bathroom and shower, featuring yoga equipment and free weights. The Pacific Ocean is 15 minutes by 4×4 vehicle, with great opportunities for surfing, kayaking, fishing, and SUP tours. For an athletic, high-energy type, it’s an absolutely ideal location to vacation.

A full-size laundry room with a washer and dryer is located on the main floor. The property has an outdoor security camera system, and parking for four vehicles, with two of those spaces being under the covered garage overhang.

We loved our family vacation in the jungle, the house is gorgeous. The view is even more beautiful in person. We saw wild animals every day from toucans to morpho butterflies to coatimundi! The host helped us find an emergency center late at night when we needed it most. They are very reliable. Even though the house feels remote the town is not too far and with the help of the hosts and a 4x4 we could easily navigate the area. Thank you so much for our stay, we loved the house in such a special place. We really appreciate the help during our stay especially searching for a doctor. Pura Vida!!

The home was stunning. Views were breathtaking. The management company was so responsive. We really felt like we were taken care of. The town of Dominical was the perfect size to feel small and quaint with enough dining options and shops to explore. Great location to drive to Manuel Antonio and also Corcovado. Note you do need four wheel drive. Loved it!

Our stay at Tulü Azul was nothing short of magical. What a beautiful villa in a peaceful, serene location. We enjoyed spending our mornings sipping coffee while observing all of the wildlife and nature surrounding us. After our daily adventures in nearby Dominical and Uvita, we loved spending our afternoons poolside taking in the ocean view. Evenings were spent cooking in the chef’s kitchen or poolside at the grill. The location is perfect. While away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads, you’re still within 10 minutes of the bars, restaurants and beaches of Dominical. We couldn’t have asked for a better location for a relaxing, awe-inspiring getaway and are looking forward to returning very soon!

Our 7-day stay at YouGetHere’s Vacation Rental’s “Luxury New Villa, Awesome Ocean & Valley Views” home was incredible! The easy-to-locate home was immaculate and very tastefully appointed. Screens in the living area were a plus; fully stocked kitchen; amazing grill and outside beverage cooler; en suite bedrooms with quiet, effective AC units and decks overlooking the ocean and rolling hills; separate gym… infinity pool overlooking an incredible view which was always appreciated but never more than at sunset. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs in several countries and have never commented that “pictures don’t do it justice” but certainly must do so now. Tulu Azul was a beautiful home with amazing views. Every room has views of the forest and ocean and the sunsets are so colorful. Every day we saw new birds and wildlife. You definitely want a 4x4 vehicle as the road is dirt and bumpy for about 10 minutes. But its worth the drive. Check-in and out was very easy. There is plenty of restaurants a few minutes down the road, and close to Uvita and Manuel Antonio.

What an incredible stay. The photos do not do it justice - the home and the views are absolutely stunning. The house is very new, very clean and very well furnished. There is a clear sense of pride of ownership with the home. The host (Stephen) was great - super responsive and helpful with recommendations and directions. The best feature of the home however is the pool deck area. The seating areas provide comfortable options and rest and recharge. The outdoor bbq is high end. The pool is breathtaking. The wildlife, the views and the sunsets will bring us back. Be sure to rent a 4x4 as advised. Domincal is great, as is Uvita. So much to do around the area, but also difficult to leave the home some days given how great it is!

The house and property were beautiful. The staff was responsive and helpful. The jungle and ocean views were spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped. The Breville juicer came in handy, and we enjoyed fresh pineapple juice in the mornings and piña coladas at night. A tip for future guests, keep the lights off or to a minimum at dusk to keep the insects at bay. We learned the hard way the first night.

I’ve been to a lot of places in my life and this property was by far one of my favorites. The location nestled into the hills offers unparalleled beauty. The home itself is amazing and there is not a single thing that we needed that wasn’t available for us. Communication with the team was very easy and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home every step of the way. Whether you’re traveling with family or with your significant other, I can’t think of a better place to spend some time off the grid. Casa Tulu Azul was exactly as described! The photos don’t do the view justice, sunsets were simply stunning! Ismael met us in town and drove us the quick 10min drive up the mountain to check us in. He was responsive throughout our stay and was quick to answer any questions we had. The villa was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Our whole group all said we would love to stay again!

There are no words to describe how perfect this place was. The pictures do it NO justice. Everything about this home was absolutely perfect. They made it all easy for us.. from renting the car, to arriving, recommendations, the awesome host, etc. I would recommend this Airbnb over a million times if I could. The Villa itself is perfectly designed for its surroundings. The spacious open-concept main living area is bathed in natural light, with large windows wall to wall both front and back. The modern, well-equipped kitchen area includes a large island, which serves as both the center of meal preparation activity and a natural spot for socializing. The owners have impeccable taste, and the decor reflects that. But the real highlight of the main level is the walkout to the outdoor living space and its spectacular views. We enjoyed all of our evening meals - and our morning coffees - at the large outdoor dining table by the infinity pool, simply "living in the moment" and taking in the amazing sights and sounds of the rainforest.

The place was more than big enough for our party of six. Each of the three large bedrooms in the main villa has spectacular views and access to its own balcony. There is a fourth bedroom in a separate "casita" where one can relax for hours in a swing chair watching toucans and monkeys feeding in the surrounding trees. A third building on the property houses a workout/yoga space where the more energetic members of our group would enjoy some early morning exercise.

I could go on about the beautiful nearby beaches, the amazing waterfalls, and the quaint town of Dominical with its local shops and restaurants, but to me the most memorable part of our stay was the absolute beauty and sense of tranquility of Tulu Azur and its surroundings. I can honestly say that I don’t think I haver ever had vacation where I have felt a greater sense of total relaxation. We will most certainly be back.

Firstly ! The pictures do not compare to when you arrive in person ! The concierge Johnathan was more than helpful every step of thee way . From activities , private chef , in home massages and taxis . It was magical and wonderful birthday trip . Feeling immersed in the jungle , the sunsets were breathtaking and the rain was pure magic . This house exceeded all my expectations . Dominical is closest to UVITA and Quepos and about a 3hr drive from the airport . We had activities in UVITA and Quepos so we got to see a lot . Also a great house for a group of people . Wouldn't recommend for families with children as it is right in the jungle and lots of terrain . Overall I would gladly stay here again !

My family and I recently stayed in this magnificent house! It’s in a very private and serene location but close enough to Dominical to enjoy all the benefits that that town has to offer as well. The house was above and beyond what we would expect all appliances furniture and extras were thought of! We had four kids and four adults and everyone at every age loved this house! The outdoor showers were amazing and one with nature. The gym was a big bonus and our older children really enjoyed working out every day in the gym the pool was also a wonderful place to gather and outdoor meals were enjoyed by all. You will need a four-wheel-drive to get up the driveway but only because it is steep it is in great condition in the road up is drivable even in a regular vehicle.
