Caballitos del Mar Norte

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The beach right out the back door was a dream—soft, fine sand perfect for skimboarding, and the pool was the ideal refreshing temperature. The house was spotless, with air conditioning in each bedroom, making for perfect siestas and restful nights. Wildlife lovers will be in heaven here—we saw iguanas, basilisks, and even had a capybara stroll by carrying a coconut one morning! The location is fantastic: just a 20-minute walk along the beach to Dominical or a quick 3-minute drive. While this is one of three identical houses, they are each completely private. A big shoutout to Vivi, who was incredibly sweet and took care of anything we needed during our stay. We’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Wish we could have stayed longer. We traveled to 4 different locations in Costa Rica on this trip and this takes the cake for best location and amenities. The location of the house is perfect. Beach is steps away and walkable to town at low tide. We enjoyed beach combing and watching all the hermit crabs on the beach. The house was clean and well stocked. The caretakers were friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and perfect for our family with kids. Already planning our next trip to comeback. Highly recommend this listing. Thank you to all the staff. Truly a great stay. We loved our time, wish we could have stayed longer.

Our second time at this Airbnb and it does not disappoint. Nothing beats walking a few steps to the ocean from your bedroom. Kitchen is a great size and has wonderful amenities. The bedroom AC works great. House was very clean. Staff is very attentive and available for any needs you may have. The pool is just an awesome extra touch. There couldn’t be a better location if you’re visiting this area.

I can't say enough about this property. Incredible location with beach access within steps. Large pool for lounging in at night. Access to town within minutes. All the little touches provided as well, cooler and flashlights. 10 out of 10 property

This was our second stay at Los Caballitos, we loved it again. Such a peaceful place in a perfect location, the little town of Dominicale is so much fun. Great restaurants and markets.

The property is beautiful including the perfectly groomed gounds. We enjoyed playing in the ocean waves, walking on the beach, and swimming in the pool. We met several local families sharing the beach. The Palm trees full of coconuts and Henry shared a couple with us, cutting them and opening them for us to enjoy a fresh drink and tasty fresh coconut meat. The restaurants in Dominical were excellent! We made great memories here. 💗

We were a family group of 8 people ranging from 53 down to 15. This house was perfect for us, very spacious, lots of room by the pool, great size pool with perfect temperature. We went to a great New Year's Eve party at Fuego brewery (reservations required), took a snorkel trip out of Uvita that the hosts helped book, went to Manuel antonio (an hour north), hiked to waterfalls (very close by, short drive). Hosts also helped us with car rental from the airport. Fantastic trip, great house, so nice being right on the beach, very easy drive into Dominical for food and groceries, and also easy to walk there along the beach.

The property was great. Love the easy access to the beach. This was our second time staying in one of the Caballitos Del Mar properties & we will likely visit again. The You Get Here team was excellent, very responsive & helpful. One of the owners was staying in one of the other houses. He checked in to make sure we were having a good stay & gave us excellent restaurant recommendations.

Our stay at Dominical YouGetHere was amazing! The house is beautiful and the location is spectacular. It was perfect for a quiet, zen beach stay. Having a backyard with a pool and the beach was perfect. We loved at low tide how you could walk miles. The pool and landscaping was so pretty, and the sound of the ocean made it very relaxing. The house was very clean and well-stocked. We were so comfortable and felt at home. Neil was a great host and very accessible and responsive, also very nice. Sights, attractions, nature, amazing beaches, good restaurants, and a great grocery store are all minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Well, what can I say? I just wish I had booked more days there. The place is idyllic situated right on the beach with the beautiful rainforest backdrop behind the house. The house was extremely spacious and the swimming pool was the perfect temperature. In addition, the staff who live nearby are incredibly responsive and helpful if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope we can return one day again soon.

We loved this property so much we're already trying to figure out when we can return. The house itself is spacious and comfortable; we loved the air-conditioned bedrooms after days filled with adventures and tours. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we all enjoyed sitting outdoors and watching interesting birds and lizards. The private pool was an absolute highlight... it's far bigger in person than it appears in the pictures. The beach, a mere 30-second walk about the back door, was absolutely spectacular. During low tide, Dominical was a 25-ish minute walk on the beach. The property managers and on-site caretakers were friendly and helpful. When we return to Costa Rica, I will absolutely be looking to book this property again!

The home was very well equipped with kitchen supplies, beach towels, bath towels and plenty of seating. This was by far the cleanest VRBO I have stayed in. The staff/housekeeper went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The home is close to the beach but we didn't swim in it because of the rip tides. The pool was amazing and perfect for our kids. The house is right off the road which makes it accessible but there is a lot of noise from the street. The 3 houses are very close which would be great for families or friends staying close by. We loved the iguanas that hung around the pool.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa close to Dominical. Great restaurants nearby and very close to national parks and various activities.

We had a great time as a family. The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to see some wildlife around the house.

This property was perfect for our group of 6. The house has great amenities, is located right next to a beautiful beach, and has a large pool that we enjoyed every day. There are many restaurants, several grocery stores, and attractions within a short driving distance. The property manager and caretakers are very friendly and helpful. We very highly recommend this place and we'd love to stay there again in the future.

This property was PERFECT for our family! It was a Home-away from-Home Paradise. It had the convenience of being able to swim in the pool or the ocean straight from our backdoor. The property is meticulously manicured yet was still jungle/tropical in nature. It was within less than an hour from the Quepos Airport, Manuel Antonio National Park, mangrove excursions, canopy ziplining, The Wales Tail, Cano Island snorkeling/scuba diving, and the beautiful Nauyaca Waterfalls (where you can swim in the cool waters of the lagoon and/or jump off/or dive off the cliffs into the cool waters below). At least these are the excursion we took part in. We rented a car so we had the convenience of going anywhere at any time. I would also recommend Fuego Brewery & Restaurant just 10 minutes from the house. We will definitely be coming back!

Been coming to Costa Rica for over 10 years, this location is unbeatable in the Dominical area. The hosts are great, Stephen is responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Caballitos Del Mar. Thanks guys!! ​ ​You guys are the best, so grateful!!

The house was beautiful! Great location! It is semi-private and the neighbors walk across the yard to get to the beach. There is an access road between the house and the beach where people can park. I only say this because of privacy is what you need l, have realistic expectations. The house is beautiful and the pool was great. The beach when the tide goes out is incredible and walkable to Dominicalito. We had iguanas along with other lizards hang with us by the pool. Bats said hello every evening at dusk and a squirrel monkey checked on us daily lol. Steve was great and bought our grocery’s before we arrived ensuring an easy transition to our holiday. I wish there was a way to keep the road noise away but overall a wonderful stay! Pura Vida!

The location is perfect, quiet, peaceful, close to many interesting places like waterfalls, beaches, can't ask for more! Clean house, really comfortable beds, outdoors, kitchen.

The house was very clear and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The backyard and gardening is top notch and creates a tropical paradise! Definitely you stay there again.
