We loved our stay at Casa Pura Vida. We had two adult couples, and the space was just right. We heard howler monkeys in the mornings and evenings. Saw cappuchin monkeys, coties, and other wildlife daily. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Monkey Hideout for sleeping, and the outdoor bathroom was wonderful. We ate all of our dinners on the porch, cooking fresh fish that we picked up every day.

The house and its surroundings are picture perfect! We really enjoyed our stay!

The villa was great. We enjoyed having a pool that was clean and a great backyard with seating to relax, a table, an outdoor shower to rinse off from the sea, and a bbq grill. The bedrooms had mini splits and kept the bedrooms cool for an exceptional nights sleep. Lived having a kitchen and laundry. The staff was always helpful and responded quickly to requests. We would definitely stay here again. The beach, which is literally a few steps off the property. Beautiful sunsets a a perfect beach to stroll or swim.

Exceptional property with world-class architecture and craftsmanship. The host met us on the main road at evening and personally guided us to the house. The design is spectacular - infinity pool overlooking the bay, bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows framing sunrise ocean views, and stunning sunset vistas. Build quality and attention to detail are outstanding throughout. One of the finest Airbnbs I've experienced. Highly recommended. Looking forward to returning.

We loved staying in this villa! Everything was perfect, and the pool area was amazing. Super close to Dominical and local beaches while being tucked away in the jungle. YouGetHere, our host, was super responsive and helpful. Looking forward to coming back.

The house was beautiful and perfect to accommodate our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The view was outstanding, I miss waking up to it already. The grounds and gardens were stunning, house was very private. Every morning we were visited by a toucan which was fun to watch, so many birds here. This area of Costa Rica is breathtaking. The staff was absolutely wonderful to deal with, any questions we had were answered immediately. The only disappointment was we didn't book it longer, we will be back for sure!

We feel a bit like family coming home to Casa Pura Vida, beginning with the warm welcome and personal service we received from Jhonnathan and Ismael. The property is amazing thanks to the hard work of Ivan that cares for the grounds, the staff at You Get Here and updates we noticed this year. We've stayed here for many years and it's still one of the best places for spotting wildlife. This year we had multiple morning visits from a curious tayra as well as capuchins, howlers, pizote, agouti, and a quick glimpse of a kinkajou or martilla and of course many birds. It's amazing that with all of the construction around the area that this property has remained connected to the wildlife. I'm still recovering from the sadness of leaving but until next year- Pura Vida!

Everything about this villa and our stay here was exactly as we expected! The service was 10/10 thanks to YouGetHere, and this beautiful house has everything you need and more. The view of the ocean and its tropical forest surroundings is simply awesome! Only a 10-minute drive down to the beach, grocery store, and bakery in nearby Dominical. This is definitely one of the nicest villas of the many we have stayed at in Costa Rica over the years. We would absolutely consider returning in the future! Pura Vida... Our house was beautiful, and everything was so clean. We spent a lot of time in the tiki hut by the pool because it had a beautiful view and a nice table to play games at night. Our host was very friendly and accommodating specially when we couldn’t get to the house till very late they were understanding. I would definitely come back to the same area and probably rent the same house as well.

Everything was wonderful. We felt like we had a resort all to ourselves!

This is the fourth time we've stayed at this beautiful home in Ojochal ~ and we absolutely love it! The house is so well laid out. Every bedroom has its own private en suite bathroom. The management team YouGetHere is fantastic and so responsive. The cleaning crew is amazing. We tried a new home chef service this time, and they were wonderful! They are friendly, responsive, and their food is delicious! We've already booked our trip again for next year. It's a little bit of a rough road getting up to the house and a steep driveway, but we've stayed in much more difficult situations in Costa Rica. The house is so conveniently located right off the main highway. The views from the house are spectacular. Check out Heliconia Restaurant, Exotica Restaurant, and Fusion while you're there. And dolphin tours out of Uvita was fantastic! We saw so many whales.

We loved everything about our stay!! Beautiful house and property, short walk to a beautiful beach with hardly any people. The pool was great, clean and refreshing. Would highly recommended this property! Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing home with beautiful surroundings. Good location out of town but easy enough to drive to dinner or to areas to catch excursions. Very relaxing and would definitely recommend and visit again. The two master suites are nice, and the third bedroom also has a fairly private hallway bathroom. The furnishings are high quality and comfortable.

Wonderful family vacation - we all enjoyed our stay at this stunning place overlooking the ocean. A special treat for our 50th anniversary. The staff were great in providing information and responding to our questions in a timely manner. Loved it!!!

The house was as pictured! Great for our group of 11. Never felt crowded. The views were truly incredible. Bring your binoculars as there were lots of birds to see and even sloths in the trees in the distance.

Outstanding villa and perfect service!

We had an amazing Christmas in this beautiful house! We've stayed in a lot of rental houses and this house was by far the best one yet! The views were breathtaking! The location was perfect- close to Uvita and Dominical but secluded enough to have privacy. You definitely need a 4-wheel drive to get up to the house! The house was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. We spent a few days at the house just relaxing by the pool and cooking our own meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We were lucky enough to be visited by the monkeys on several occasions. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and we absolutely fell in love with the country. There is so much to do and the people are very friendly. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
