This stunning villa is located in the hillside community of Escaleras, between the coastal towns of Dominical and Uvita.
The home is ideal for groups of 4-10 adults. There is also capacity for as many as six other guests in the kids' room, for a maximum of 16 guests.
Perfect for large groups
There are five bedrooms for adults, four of which have en-suite bathrooms and king-size beds.
The fifth bedroom has a queen bed with a bathroom down the hall. Each bedroom has air-conditioning.
There is also a kids’ room downstairs with three bunk beds, a restroom, AC and plenty of space to play.
Because of its unique design features, the kids’ room is a huge hit for children in the 3-10 range. There are also a pair of air mattresses available if teenagers need to use the room but are too big for the bunk beds
The perfect design to blend indoor and outdoor spaces
The living area, kitchen, master bedroom and fifth bedroom are all located on the main floor. This is also where the swimming pools and outdoor living and cooking space are found.
While the temperature is pretty much always perfect, there is a warm soaking tub in the master bedroom that’s great for winding down after a long day of river rafting, or surfing, or sport fishing — or maybe your eyes are just tired from reading too much at the pool.
Swing open the master bedroom’s large glass doors and feel the cool ocean breeze whip through the night as you enjoy the tub and the unique sounds of the surrounding jungle.
Prepping meals in the kitchen is a cinch, too, with a spacious countertop for food prep and a jumbo, double-door fridge for storing plenty of items. In addition, the dining room table seats 10 comfortably.
Now we’ve devoted quite a bit of time to the villa’s interior, but the truth is most of your non-sleeping time will be spent outdoors enjoying Costa Rica’s amazing climate and geography.
There are three ... three! swimming pools.
So the kids can be in one pool making stadium-level noise while splashing water at the toucans, and Uncle Joe with the bad jokes can be pouring drinks at the swim-up bar, and that gives you a third option to get away from it all and relax at your very own pool, maybe even do a few laps for exercise.
It’s a perfect setup!
When you’re not in the pool, you can play a game of billiards or kick back on one of the many poolside lounge chairs.
While this is going on, someone else can fire up the gas grill and Spanish frying pan and start cooking fresh fish, local veggies and gallo pinto for dinner.
For the best part, you can repeat this routine day after day at your leisure. In fact, you don’t even need to go inside to eat because the outdoor dining table fits 10 as well.

Your own private nature reserve full of wildlife!
Among the visitors at the Jade House are magnificent macaws, tons of toucans, blue morpho butterfles and even those slow-moving , tree-based animals with an insatiable appetite for sleep... the sloth.
And we must admit that what you've heard about the Jade House is true. There’s a lot of monkey business going on, and nobody’s doing anything to stop it!
