Villa Oro Verde

This location was so perfect for relaxing. We never left the villa, thankfully we went shopping first. We utilized all of the amenities while there. It was peaceful and enjoyable. The communication from the host was great. We used two of the recommended vendors for private chefs and massages and I highly recommend them both. I would not hesitate to book this villa again if ever I return to Costa Rica.

The house was amazing! It looked just like the photos but the view we even better in person. We loved everything about this property (especially seeing monkeys and toucans from our pool!), definitely worth a stay!

Villa de Oro was everything we could have hoped for. It was the perfect mountain getaway with stunning views and an abundance of wildlife around us. It was just myself and my wife on our honeymoon on the trip and we loved it. We came during the rainy season so the pool was too cold to use for extended periods of time but other than that this place is amazing. You guys are awesome. I can't imagine that anything could have gone better. Thank you so much!"

We were a group consisting of 2 couples and absolutely loved our stay here. The view is perfection, the pool was lovely, and the inside was beautiful. Each bedroom was really nice, so no one felt like they were missing out. Outside we saw some coati and toucans on the property, and on the road up we saw a deer one night, and a sloth the next! You could also hear howler monkeys (though we weren't lucky enough to see them). We would absolutely stay here again. The road up the mountain is part of the fun, but you do need a sturdy 4 x 4 (as stated in the listing). The restaurant partway up (Scala) was amazing as well.

I would definitely recommend staying here. Villa Oro Verde was beautiful! And the views of the Pacific Ocean and the jungle were gorgeous! The house was stocked with everything we needed. The description and pictures on this listing are very accurate. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, grilling out, and just enjoying the views. The drive up, once you turn off the highway, was about 25 minutes on a somewhat bumpy, curvy, and at times steep road (a 4X4 vehicle is definitely required), but it was well worth it! And lastly, the people at YouGetHere Property Management were great. They met us at arrival and departure, were available during our stay to answer our questions, helped us set up zip-line and kayak tours prior to our arrival, and were overall professional and kind.

The picture really does not do this house justice. It’s literally at the top of a mountain the view is amazing! The house itself is amazingly beautiful. Thanks to the YGH team, it was really a pleasure staying at this villa. Everyone was great and provided me with clear information. They helped me book a private chef and excursions. A 4x4 is required for this house, if you don’t have one you will not be able to access the house. There is security at the gate which made us feel more comfortable with our stay. It is a trip to get to the house as the roads are unpaved ( literally at the top of a mountain) but after a day you get used to it and the drive in the daylight is not bad.
