From underneath the villa’s immaculate, handcrafted palapa, the views of Dominicalito Bay and Cano Island are awe-inspiring. Just imagine yourself, free from the shackles of an office setting, sitting poolside here on a work day, cool libation in your grip, peering out at that stunning landscape. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

Some of the finest beaches in Costa Rica, including Playa Dominical, Playa Hermosa and Playa Ventanas, are all within a short drive of the villa as well.

Now, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. Here are some fun facts you need to know about Villa Divertida:

The property is totally private — our visitors don’t share the grounds with anyone else — and is nestled inside of a gated community in the mountains, just a few miles south of Dominical town. From the international airport in San Jose, it takes approximately 3 hours to drive to Dominical. There are also quick, regional flights from San Jose to Quepos, which is 30 minutes north of Dominical.

All visitors will need a 4×4 vehicle to reach the villa, so please plan accordingly. There is enough parking for 3 vehicles. Our property management team, YouGetHere Vacation Rentals, is happy to assist with any rental car and shuttle services for your group.

The villa is stocked with all modern appliances and cookware. There’s a dishwasher, outdoor BBQ, microwave, coffee pot, blender and washer/dryer units.

There are 3 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms at Villa Divertida. Every bedroom has an air-conditioning unit. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor of the house, while the third bedroom is downstairs.

Sensational jungle surroundings and a straight-shot look at the pool and Pacific Ocean make Villa Divertida’s primary bedroom truly special. The primary features a king bed, large-screen television and en-suite bathroom with double sinks. The highlight, however, is an indoor soaking tub that practically places you in the jungle canopy with the white-faced monkeys and toucans outside. It’s an incredible experience.

The second is located upstairs has a TV and share a bathroom. There is also an additional half-bathroom near the living area of the house.
Also the lounge can be used as a bedroom & features a pair of pull-out twin sofa beds.

Located downstairs, the third bedroom features a pair of queen beds, en-suite bathroom, television and a mini-fridge. Visitors can access the garden and terrace area through this bedroom as well.

While guests can anticipate spending tons of time around the infinity swimming pool and BBQ area — where there’s a lot of outdoor seating and dining space available — there’s also a lovely patio in the front of the villa that serves as a perfect location to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon tea. When in search of some quiet time, this tranquil patio is the spot to slink off to with a new book in tow.

The villa’s kitchen is also well-stocked and centered right in the middle of the action, so whoever is cooking won’t ever feel left out of all the fun. Fresh-caught fish is readily available in the area, while local supermarkets carry a good amount of culinary options.
