Let’s talk about Casa Tsiö.
This tropical vacation villa, located in the heart of Costa Rica’s picturesque southern Pacific coast, offers an incredible blend of privacy, convenience, and nature.
As a guest at Casa Tsiö, you’ll be staying far enough from town to be totally immersed in the allure of such a majestic, natural venue, but also located within a quick 10-minute drive of local beaches, shopping, bars, and restaurants. Like lemonade with iced tea, it’s a sweet mix.
Casa Tsio is spacious, with a large infinity swimming pool and all-encompassing ocean views. Major renovations on the house wrapped up in 2020, so everything from the furniture to the cutlery feels clean and new. The house features three bedrooms and is ideal for up to six guests.
Layout-wise, the infinity pool bumps right up to the kitchen and dining area, so everyone gets to feel like they’re a part of the action, regardless if you’re making breakfast or swimming laps. There are shallow sections inside the pool for water-based lounging, as well as layout chairs on the pool deck that will absolutely assist in creating an exquisite-yet-humble vacation tan.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to prep delicious meals, like cooking fresh fish from the ocean out front or carving up pineapples and papayas. It even has a television set mounted into the valley-side wall to help distract you from the ridiculous view of the Pacific to your immediate right. There’s a quality dining table with seating for eight guests and another kitchen island with barstools. With a ton of space to maneuver in both the kitchen and dining areas, you’ll never feel cramped at Casa Tsiö. And when you’re done swimming in the pool or flipping burgers on the BBQ, you can cozy up on the living room couches and watch television or movies on the big screen.
All three bedrooms are located upstairs. The master bedroom features a king bed, air-conditioning unit, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom, and an ocean-view deck that has stupendous sightlines toward the famous Whale’s Tail reef. On a different patio in the master bedroom sits an outdoor soaking tub. You’ll want to carve out some time for this tub because it’s a vital addition to any vacation itinerary.
The second and third bedrooms are located opposite the master bedroom, with a separate set of stairs. One of these bedrooms has a king bed, AC unit, and an ocean view. The other bedroom features a pair of single beds that can be pushed together to form a larger mattress. The second and third bedrooms share an en-suite bathroom.
Casa Tsio comes equipped with wireless internet and parking for multiple vehicles. Although it’s a very short drive from the town of Uvita to the property, you’ll still need a 4×4 vehicle to navigate the dirt road off the highway. The house is under the watchful eyes of YouGetHere Property Management. A member of our team will meet you for the check-in process and be there when you check out of the villa, and we are always a quick phone call or email away if any issues arise during your stay.
When we talk about Casa Tsio, we’re talking about opportunity, a chance to experience the absolute best of what Costa Rica has to offer. By booking Casa Tsio today, tomorrow will be so much better.
Our guest reviews will give you the scoop on our luxury vacation villas and the Dominical, Costa Rica area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Uvita. The house was great. The views were amazing and the location was perfect. Certainly a little different as we learned with it being our first time to Costa Rica. Most of the houses here are open air. However, the bedrooms were air conditioned. Did not present any issue for us since the first house we stayed in earlier in our trip was the same way but with no A/C. We will be back. Only regret is that we had to leave. The house was great. "Just as the pictures illustrate, this property is breathtakingly stunning. From views to the accommodations, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tsiö for our belated honeymoon. YouGetHere manages the property (and several others in neighboring towns). They had exceptional communication and offered a number of resources upon booking such as pamphlets describing popular restaurants, services/activities, and nearby beaches. Using said pamphlets, we booked in-home massages, deep sea fishing/snorkeling excursions, and a personal chef during our stay. Each experience was absolutely magical. When we weren't exploring the area and trying different restaurants, we were relaxing in the pool (using the floaties they provided) or in the outdoor bathtub soaking in the incredible views. There is a sound system next to the kitchen TV that was a nice bonus feature we found! There's nothing like swimming/soaking/tanning to your favorite jams. I will note though, that we had an animal of some sort poop in the pool one evening. We weren't too bothered because 1. you're surrounded by vegetation so it would be silly not to expect a plethora of insects/animals and 2. a pool skimmer (which was also helpful in removing bugs and leaves) was nearby. Aside from superficial cleaning, YouGetHere contracts a weekly cleaning service. Additionally, it might be noteworthy to mention that the water pressure is almost nonexistent (which I think is a region-wide thing). We didn't mind, especially since we never ran out of hot water, but don't be surprised when the tub takes ~20-30 minutes to fill up. Another thing to be aware of before booking is the open air concept. Although all of the bedrooms are equipped with an A/C unit, the rest of the house is open air. They do include two oscillating fans next to the kitchen/living room area which helps but some may not be accustomed to or expecting a warmer ambient temperature. The A/C unit was not working in the master bedroom for the first two days of our stay, but YouGetHere did the best they could to get it fixed in a timely manner. We just slept in one of the other bedrooms since it was just the two of us, so it was no problem at all. With that, expect to hear wildlife (especially birds) 24/7. I found it peaceful and am naturally an early riser, but if you're a light sleeper, I would recommend you bring ear plugs. I know this is a newer listing and certain amenities are still in progress, but I personally think having a TV in the master bedroom would have been nice touch. The only working TV was in the lounge area and while it was certainly cozy, it would have been more convenient not to move to go to bed, as my husband and I like to fall asleep to movies. If we were to change one detail about our experience, it would have been to opt out of the stocked refrigerator service. We were initially drawn to the idea of a full fridge upon arrival but didn't end up cooking as much as we thought because trying the local food is much more appealing! Not only was it quite expensive ($500 including the delivery fee and tip) but the list of options is pretty vague. For example, I selected 1 unit of potatoes (thinking it was one bag similar to what is offered in the US), but legitimately only got 1 single potato. Similarly, I ordered "2 pastries" expecting a local breakfast pastry, but ended up getting two large cakes. It was clearly a misunderstanding on both ends, but I think having some clarification prior to buying would have been beneficial in reducing the amount of wasted food and of course, the total cost. Otherwise, we enjoyed cooking with all of the supplies provided in the kitchen. They offer quite a few seasonings (with the exception of sugar) and a lot of cookware (with the exception of a coffee grinder). Overall, we genuinely had the dreamiest honeymoon we could have imagined and would love to stay at another one of YouGetHere's properties! Thank you for everything! Lovely private house, newly built. Great pool loved every bit of itApril 18, 2021
Our group of 6 had the best escape to this villa. The highlight is by far the pool area--we spent our days relaxing in the water and admiring the insane ocean views. We thought the property was clean, safe, super modern, and made for a very memorable stay. The property managers were communicative, friendly, and accommodating. Our concierge Ismael met us at a local bank near to the house -- and showed us the way to the house up a quiet dirt road. He walked us around to show us all the features of the house -- helped answer questions throughout our stay -- and was there to bid us farewell. We arranged sunset massages on the pool patio through the concierge's recommendation. We also had delicious catering arranged through Uvita Private Chef. We thoroughly enjoyed the Uvita area and can't wait to return. Our group of 6 had the best escape to this villa!March 25, 2021
