My husband, two daughters and son had a great vacation at this home, we were looking for a relaxing but adventurous week and got it all. This home is very comfortable and spacious the pool, hot tub and outside areas are amazing. It really makes the place with outdoor kitchen in the rancho we spent hours here cooking on the BBQ eating, drinking and having fun playing with the kids. It’s a real bonus to have the housekeeper and her husband on site to help out if needed and they do a great job keeping the house and grounds well maintained and at the same time not invading our privacy. The house is very close to Uvita which has good stores so it was easy just pick up anything we needed. There is incredible nature and wildlife everywhere just in the garden we saw white faced monkeys a sloth and many different types of birds including regular visits from Toucans and Tucanets. We have been to other areas of Costa Rica before but this area is by far the best the beaches and waterfalls are really impressive and there are a huge amount of activities close by to cater for everyone in the family. We all really enjoyed the horse ride to the Nauyaca waterfall, rafting and zip ling. All the activities the operators were friendly and professional, we wanted to do many more adventures but ran out of time. It was great to end the day around the pool watching the incredible sunsets eating BBQ and talking about our day of fun. We will be back and will recommend La Libelula to our friends it is great for a family vacation. Thanks everyone for a memorable vacation!!!

When the crisp jungle air tingles your senses and the sounds of howler monkeys tickle your eardrums, that’s when you know you’ve finally arrived at Casa Toji, an awe-inspiring vacation destination located along Costa Rica’s stunning southern Pacific coastline.

Completed in November 2016, Casa Toji features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, an amazing outdoor setup with an extensive infinity swimming pool and some of the most picturesque ocean views on the planet. The villa is completely modern, with stainless steel appliances, vaulted ceilings, comfortable furniture, air conditioning, satellite television and wireless internet.

Casa Toji is located in the jungle-laden hillside near the town of Uvita. From the coastal highway in Uvita, the drive up the mountain takes approximately 10 minutes. There are a slew of fantastic restaurants, shopping stores and beaches within 20 minutes of the front door, making for a fine combination of ultimate privacy and close-by convenience. The closest dining establishment, Oxygen, is only a 3-minute drive from the house.

All three bedrooms have air-conditioning units, as does the living room. The master bedroom features a king bed, a pair of rough-cut marble sinks, walk-in closet, security safe and a frosted glass shower door that can be used to access the pool area. The second bedroom has a queen bed while the third room is equipped with a bunk bed, making it ideal for children. Those two bedrooms share a bathroom. There is another half-bath near the living room.

The kitchen area has a large, ocean-facing window that gets incredible seabreezes and sightlines. There is also a three-seat bar in the kitchen for sipping drinks and munching on Costa Rica’s delicias selection of tropical fruits and vegetables. It is fully equipped with an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, baking pots and pans, and cutlery. Furthermore, watching sports or catching up on the latest news is a cinch on the 60-inch flat-screen television that’s nestled on the living room wall, not far from the kitchen.

Moving outdoors, guests can watch toucans soar through the sky while floating on a pool raft or fire up the powerful Weber barbecue for a late-afternoon feast. Or better yet, you might as well do both! There is plenty of seating outside, with multiple pool lounge chairs and an eight-seat wood dining table. There is also a nice-sized grass area for playing catch with the kids or challenging your best buddy to an intense game of cornhole.

The region itself is an outdoor lover’s dream, as the area is teeming with wildlife and adventure. You can visit a mangrove or reptile park, take a surfing lesson or ATV ride, hike to a waterfall or do a horseback jaunt down the beach. Maybe book a sport fishing trip and bag a marlin or rappel down a dozen waterfalls that are located just down the road from the rental property. The possibilities are just about endless in this beautiful country.

Our property management company is here to assist during the entire vacation-planning process, from rental cars to tours to restaurant and beach recommendations.

Happy Traveler
The view is incredible across the canopy and out to the Pacific and the famous "whale's tail." The layout of this new home affords guests privacy, as well as beautiful communal space. The flow from the inside of the home to the outside deck and pool overlooking the Pacific is lovely. There is a soft breeze that moves through the property most of the day. The house is also equipped with excellent appliances and beautiful fixtures in the kitchen and baths. There is great space for outside dining, as well as a small breakfast nook inside the house.  Once down the "hill" and into town, there are plenty of markets and restaurants available, but you may not want to leave this gorgeous home once you arrive! With the proper provisions, there really is no need to.
