Neil, the property manager, was exceedingly helpful and friendly upon our arrival and offered many suggestions of local restaurants and places to visit while on our vacation. He was very thorough in providing a tour of the house as we arrived and made sure we would be able to contact him if with any problems or questions during our stay.
In addition, he was always very prompt in replying to my e-mails and questions during the preliminary rental process and made our home rental plans efficient and worry-free.
I would not hesitate to use Neil as our contact person for any future visits to the Dominical and Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica.

New Flights into Costa Rica

Blog

It’s about to get even easier to book a flight for your Costa Rican getaway. And if we’re all lucky, an increase in airline competition will lead to a decrease in prices.

Within the past week, two major U.S. airlines – Southwest and Delta – announced plans to add flights in and out of the picturesque Central American nation.

Southwest Airlines is attempting to make its initial foray into Costa Rican airspace. The airline has applied for approval with the U.S. Department of Transportation to begin daily flights from Baltimore to San Jose, C.R. in March 2015.

The Baltimore-to-San Jose trip will cover 2,070 miles, the longest distance for any Southwest international flight.

A few days after Southwest’s announcement, Delta Airlines laid out its plan for increased air travel to Costa Rica. Delta will operate four new flights beginning November 7. The majority of Delta’s new flights will travel between Los Angeles International Airport and Liberia, Guanacaste, a province in the northwest corner of the country near Tamarindo.

Delta also plans to increase seasonal services between Minneapolis-St. Paul and San Jose, C.R.

These new flights should be a welcome addition for U.S. travelers who plan on making the trek southward later this year or in 2015 and beyond. Early reservations for our Dominical luxury villas have been coming in at a rapid pace as we inch closer toward the green season. If you’re still up in the air about booking a potential trip to Costa Rica, we invite you to visit www.yougethere.com for a peek at all of our vacation rentals.
